Levels and Certificates
Our Italian language courses are divided into five levels of language competence: beginner, elementary, lower intermediate, upper intermediate, advanced. At the start of the first day of classes, an initial written and oral test will be given to assess the students' present level of Italian. In the event that after the entrance test level there are only one or two students for a particular level, the 4 hour standard Italian course will be converted into 2 hours of Individual tuition with the possibility to attend for the other two hours the class of the more similar level.
In the event that there are only 3 students for a particular level, the number of hours for the class will be reduced by 1 hour per day (for example: 3 hours instead of 4 for the Standard class) given the more intense nature of a small class size.
At the end of the course, students receive a certificate of attendance, in which the level achieved and the whole duration of the course attended are specified.
